(1) After receiving the application in accordance with Rule 17, the District Water Resources Committee shall conduct necessary investigations regarding whether the necessary documents, details or reports submitted with the application have been submitted in accordance with the Act and these regulations.
(2) If the applicant has not submitted any document, statement or report to be submitted with the application during the investigation as per sub-section (1), then the District Water Resources Committee shall set a reasonable deadline for the applicant to submit such document, statement or report within thirty days from the date of registration of the application. Notice should be given.
(3) In accordance with sub-rule (2), if the district water resources committee has given a deadline notice for submitting any document, statement or report, the date on which such document is received shall be considered as the date of application for the purpose of sub-section (2) of section 8 of the Act.
